Baseboard Heat

I purchased a rental property and would like to install Baseboard heat throughout the units. I know the BTU's needed for each room, but not exactly sure on the footage of baseboard needed per room. The specifications say 'X' amount of BTU's put baseboard, But it does not explain whether it is a 2 foot section or 8 foot....... How do I figure this out?

Baseboard Heat

Each company will list the btu's per ft of each product they make. Go to the website and look up the product you have.

Baseboard Heat

hit HD and their Slant-Fin section they have the sizing charts right on the boxes and you can check the prices.just need to catch the exterior walls all the way around the place...series or parallel is your choice.if it is a no basement or crawl space might just go with series all the way around.
