bad smell

mboudreaux Newbie   Join Date: Jul 2009 Posts: 2	bad smell I recently installed water in my work shop using copper tubing, when I run the water it has a sulphur smell. The water suppy is from my house, which is supplied by the city and does not have a smell at all. what could be causing the smell??

plumber Jim Member   Join Date: Mar 2008 Posts: 350	bad smell If its on the cold side as well as the hot then try to run a chlorine and water mix through the piping. be sure you isolate the new that you will disinfect from the older line.
