Another stupid plumbing question
I'm sure this is a preference thing, however, I'm installing a new kitchen sink and hopefully fixing the routing issues with our plumbing under the sink. At this time I have the p trap where the two bowls junction at the T. Is it better to have the p trap where the drain pipe comes out at the wall? The last person hooked up the P trap the same way I did and I had no problems besides the plumbing being illogically placed with lots of bends and turns (hence the reason I'm replacing it). At this point it sounds and appears that the water is draining just fine. Also, the pvc pipe that then runs from the T junction of the two sinks sits about 1/4 inch lower than the drain pipe coming out of the wall. Is this going to be a problem with drainage? I dry fitted everything last night and I have a minor leak at the junction that then goes into the wall which I'm going to use a fernco rubber junction hose
Any word back will help.
I'm using 1.5" pvc piping with tension washers to attach the pieces
Sink has two bowls
I have a garbage disposal and dishwasher
Sounds right to me.
