Almost finishing renovating the kitchen, however!

Question, so it seems the new sink does not fully align with the pipe below it. So I figure I will get a plumber to get a flexible pipe and attach it on. My question for you guys is, so I firmly attach the countertop before this happens? Or should the plumbing be done first?

Attach the countertop before the plumber arrives.

Ok I see, thank you so much!

Is the drain pipe for the sink plastic?

The pipe may have large nuts that allow you to adjust the final location of the connection to the sink. The trap can be loosened up and be moved left or right, the section that goes into the wall can be loosened up and be slide forward or back, the section that will connect to the sink drain can be moved up and down.
