Air Tub?

I'm looking at installing the Jacuzzi Capella 60" corner air tub. It's supposed to come with a 600 W heater. Are there any air tub users out there and what do you think of them? What kind of faucets and valves with what kind of finish did you use? Are they warm enough with the air heater? I'm told that the tub should have the extra hand held shower attachment and I would need a diversion valve, is this right? bjr23

Air Tub?

I'm not an air tub owner (I just intalled an American Standard 60 x 42 in my bathroom), but I can tell you that the handheld shower makes the hook ups about 10 times harder. But I had to buy my rough-in valve, diverter and shower handle separately. Maybe yours will be easier.

You will find the handheld is worth the install the first time you use it to wash out the tub. I like moen roman spouts for that type of tub, you can mix and match any diverter with them, I prefer the deck mount type so it can be reached while in the tub.

Air Tub?

Thinking about adding an air massage ot my upstairs... Whirlpool is nice, but keeping it clean is a pain (especially around the jets)

Bought American Standard
Town Square™ 6' x 42" Whirlpool and Bath
Town Square™ Tub Filler (with Shower)

The installation with the hand shower wasn't bad, here is a link to the install notes they gave me.

How do you switch from the faucet to the shower head? My shower came separate from my faucet and I had to buy the valve that switches back and forth.... but I do not see one for yours?
