Aerator size

I need to replace aerator on kitchen. Its a female aerator. When i twist it off a nickle fits perfectly inside of it. Would this be 55/64 or 15/16. Thanks.

Go buy one of each, for the cost of gas to go back and exchange the wrong one it is cheaper to buy two. IMHO.

I bought a 55/65 female at menards. It worked. However it wasn't quite as deep as the original. But it works and doesn't leak.

I think your rite its 15/16 the 55/65 has to do with threads. I just went and read the specs on there website. Its listed 55/65 but says on specs 15/16 and the 55/65 has to do with threads.

The water now comes out like brand new.
