Advice on heating boilers please

Hello everybody.
I'm thinking of buying a new heating boiler. My 20 year old combi boiler needs to be replaced. At first I wanted to buy a condensing boiler, but then was advised against these boilers as they have a much shorter lifespan than combi boilers. Which boilers do you consider to be the best?
Any advice welcome!

Are you from the U.K. ??

Here we call them water heaters------What brands are you considering?

Yeah I'm from UK. I was considering Worcester and Glow Worm, but finally made up my mind to buy a combi boiler from Alpha Heating Innovation. It's UK manufacturer so probably you've never hear of it.
