Adding a shower to a 1/2 bath
I want to add a stand alone shower, possibly a tub and shower to an existing half bath. The current powder room is on my main level on concrete. Is there any way on installing a shower and/or a tub without having to break up the concrete for the drain? The qoutes I have heard for concrete and plumbing are outrageous. And advice or help would be highly appreciated. Thanks

Adding a shower to a 1/2 bath
I've done tubs and showers on platforms sometimes with a step or without. I hav'nt done them for the reason your asking about but it might work. You would have to have somebody figure out if they can tie into the sink waste and get it vented but I'm not a plumber. I personally like raise tubs. They are warmer and i like to put hot water heat under them also. HS
