Adding plumbing to basement

Wife fell in love with a new house, big selling point for me is a completely unfinished enormous basement; big set back for me is no bathroom plumbing in the basement and it is on a septic system.

Busting up concrete doesn't bother me nor does laying the drains, however getting it vertically from there and into the main drains is where I am unfamiliar.

-Is this feasible? Is this common in homes with septic systems?
-What is involved in getting it done?
-Is it worth the hassle? Basement already has egress window for bedroom so I'd really like to have the bathroom too.

Any feedback or points in the right direction would be appreciated!

Yes it can be done, is it worth it, can only be answered by you.

You will need a sump with a chopper pump, to pump waste up to the drain line.

One popular brand name grinder pump for this application around here is Saniflo. Easy install, etc... and pretty reliable.
