Adding plumbing to basement
Wife fell in love with a new house, big selling point for me is a completely unfinished enormous basement; big set back for me is no bathroom plumbing in the basement and it is on a septic system.
Busting up concrete doesn't bother me nor does laying the drains, however getting it vertically from there and into the main drains is where I am unfamiliar. -Is this feasible? Is this common in homes with septic systems? -What is involved in getting it done? -Is it worth the hassle? Basement already has egress window for bedroom so I'd really like to have the bathroom too. Any feedback or points in the right direction would be appreciated! |

Adding plumbing to basement
Yes it can be done, is it worth it, can only be answered by you.
You will need a sump with a chopper pump, to pump waste up to the drain line. Mark
