Adding fittings to mid run of a main under slab...????

I am adding in a lav and a shower drain about midway through a main line run. The slab is cut and the trench is dug. My question is, what is the correct way to put the main back after the fittings are installed. There is no room to slide that last fitting back onto the main. Am I supposed to use a rubber coupling to join the main back together ????
