Adding 2nd Zone Baseboard heat in basement / PEX questions

Finishing my basement and i'd like to add a seperate zone from the rest of the house.

What is involved in doing so ? i'd probably be adding an additional 30 feet of baseboard heat approx.

Is it as easy as:

New T- Stat

2nd Circ Pump

Running plumbing ( IS PEX OK TO USE FOR RUNNING BASEBOARD HEAT SUPPLY/RETURNS ??)

Wiring it up

Any insight would be great.

if its a closed loop system, you must use heat pex (pex with oxygen barrier),

T stat
zone valve
no 2nd recirc. valve

how ever it is a little more complex than that, nothing a do it yourselfer cant do though.

I suggest to get a book and read up a bit
