acoustic insulation for copper pipes

modusvivendi Newbie   Join Date: Aug 2012 Posts: 7	acoustic insulation for copper pipes What is the best insulation to lower the noise of copper pipes? Neoprene? fiberglass? PE foam? mass loaded vinyl rools? What about for "plastic" pipes? I understand the value of each for thermal insulation, but not to know how they rate for sound insulation. thanks

I don't know the sound value but its what we use to pipes for condensate and heat loss.
