4" faucet OK for undermount bath sink?

I bought a one piece 4" faucet for a ready made cultured marble vanity countertop with integral sink but had to return the countertop since the drain was tilted.

Now I've decided to buy a granite countertop with a china undermount sink instead. Do folks install 4" faucets with undermount sinks? Or should I try to return the 4" faucet and go with separate 8" faucets and spout?

Generally the granite tops are drilled for the 3 hole 8" center faucet----Many of the 4" faucets do not have threaded shafts long enough to go through the granite.

Would never have thought of that. I'll try to return the 4" faucet. Thanks a lot!
