2. suspicion on sewer pipe leak in basement?

I had a bunch of different signs. First there was the foul smell I never had before that started recently. And I been sleeping in the basement as shelter from the recent heat wave and I just hasn’t been well since. The notable problem signs of basement stay were nasal congestion , coldness in throat and diminished thinking. And I moved upstairs to first floor recently upon suspicion and started sleeping better. And on the first floor, recently I felt unusually tired and slept two days’s sleep on one sleep and had unusual amount of phlegm on one day but since normalized.

I’m going to get it tested. I suspect the soil around basement is permeated with sewage and have been giving off mold/bacteria airborne spores. Furthermore, I sought shelter in basement last year and don’t recall any problem like this.

Anyone have experience that can relate to this?

yea well, when you have people who claim to be professionals and are so far off in the diagnosis, its hard not to feel frustrated.

and not all doctors are equal, just saying...

Oil burns as well and can make CO aside from any oil smells from small leaks.

Maybe you should pay a professional to come to your house to investigate rather than expecting people on the Internet to make a diagnosis from a few poorly written paragraphs, then getting your panties in a bunch because you don't like the answers.
