I have an Eljer Toilet, with the date "Feb.12, 1960" stamped on the inside. It also has the number "2031 4" stamped on the inside.
It has a strange tank assembly (see photo). There is some sort of guide (other photo) that guides the flap so that it will work properly when flushed. This guide is broken, as you can see from the folder.
My questions are:
a) what is this part called and
b) will I be able to find a new one.
I am not in the financial position to purchase a new toilet, so I am just trying to keep this one working for another 6 months to a year. Any suggestions?
