1" vs. 1 1/4" pitless adapter

I have dug a new well at my house for yard irrigation and am putting in the pump next weekend. I need 20 gpm when I get the irrigation system installed. The pump I have is a 1hp 25gpm with an 1 1/4" outlet. The only pitless adapters I can find locally are 1".

My questions are. Can I connect my pump to this using reducers? Will it decrease the flow significantly? Would there be damage to the pump?

Thanks for the help.
