Started a similar thread a while back, but I didn't want to bring it back from the dead.

I have small roach like bugs, 1-3 mm, they don't bug me except for when i see them. They disappear in the winter for the most part, but as soon as summer rolls in it seems they return. They are too tiny to catch, but hopefully these pictures are good enough. These little guys are lightning fast, and i'm pretty sure i've seen them fly. I just want to know what they are, and if I have a problem. Those tiny white specs in the picture are some boric acid powder i tried to spread around the area, but the powder wasn't fine enough as you can see. But they do offer a good scale as to the size of the black specs on the white baseboard, two of which are bugs.

Try something like Joe suggests with a finer powder. Abatron makes a boron you mix into spray form.

Diatamaceous earth can often work as well. A swimming pool company will have a sack for next to nothing as it is commonly used in swimming pool filters. It, like boron, is non-toxic to people and pets.
