Tiny ants

I have tiny ants on my kitchen counter. I had to use a magnifying glass to see they are ants. About a day and a half ago I put out Hot Shot ant bait- 12 trays altogether. no effect yet. The funny thing is they are in the microwave and turning it on does not zap them. probably too small to absorb the energy.
Is there a sure fire way of getting rid of these ants?

Tiny ants

Sure is. Go get some Terro.
I like the paste the best.
Apply it there will be hundreds gathered around for a day or two then there gone for good.
