If you have a property tented for drywood termite infestation, it requires a permit.
Does an inspector actually come out to physically inspect the property? I understand this may change from locale to locale.
Reason I am asking is I am remodeling a property and there are some unpermitted items that I don't want to be seen by the city since I have the walls open etc...but ironically it is also due to tearing down walls and ceilings that allowed me to see some termite damaged areas that requires this tenting.
I don't want the inspector for the tenting to come out and see what I am doing in some parts of the property, but I don't know if they inspect anything in a tenting permit.
I have not seen a building permit posted for tenting ever. I am sure the company tenting must have some kind of permit to use the chemicals, but I do not think they require a building permit or inspection.
