Is this black stuff mold?
If so, how do I get rid of it?
I've been having chronic headaches and coughing lately, and i've also been noticing this disgusting black stuff on the wood that is directly next to my shower.

If this stuff is mold, is there a way i can permanently remove it?

Looks like mildew?

You need to clean your shower much more frequently than you do.
