Default Window art

I would like to cover a window with some material that has a picture or something decorative if viewed from one side, but is see-through from the other side. I need some suggestions on what to use.

Thanks.

Have you thought about using window film. There's a British company called Brume, that makes a variety of styles and patterns (not sure they ship to the US but you could always ask them to)

The idea is that it maintains your privacy from outside but you can still see out and get a cool pattern window too boot.

Hope that helps.

I did a google search for "faux stained glass" and came back with this site: http://www.ezfauxdecor.com/index1.html

Looks like they sell some things like you might be looking for - like the privacy glass films.

I've seen films you can apply that creates a stained glass look and ones that give privacy by not being see-through, but I'm not sure about a film you can apply that lets you see out but not in.

You might look into ArtScape, which is sold at Ace, Home Depot and a few other retailers.
