Wall-to-Wall Mirror Installation Help.

I am converting my living room to a dance studio and looking to "temporarily" install wall-to-wall mirrors. I will be here 1-2 years but since it's a rental I would prefer to mount the mirrors to something portable so I can take them with me when I go (as opposed to using mirror mastic to attach them directly to the wall).

The room is 10x15 and I'm looking to install mirrors on 2 of the walls. I plan to use 4x6 or 4x8 mirrors without frames mounted approx. 6" off the floor. (3 mirrors on one wall, 2 on the other)

My ideas so far:
- Mounting a track on the floor and on the wall to install the mirrors in. Like mirrored closet doors but they would not slide. My concern is how to get them flush. Also I would like to avoid frames between each mirror.

- Mounting 2x8's vertically on the wall (with crossbars?) and mounting the mirrors to those.

In both cases I am also wondering if I need to glue the mirrors to plywood for additional stability. Any suggestions or tips would be appreciated!

Set them in a wooden trough with the trough cut the thickness of the glass and mounted to the wall with another like trough at the top for a keeper.

Should the mirrors lay flush against the wall? With mirrors this size should I be mounting them to plywood for additional stability?

Also I do not want spaces between each mirror but if they are simply placed in this trough do I need to worry about shifting and chipping?
