Question

Tiling Bath Surround

I have an unfinished master bath. The walls are cinder block with drywall glued to that. What would be the proper way to adfix tile to this type of wall combination. For tub surrounds of standard wood studding they call for a vapor barrier. Really want to do this rigth the first Time!!! thanks for any help. VP

Tiling Bath Surround

Is this tub only, or is there a shower above it?

FWIW, you might ask this over in the kitchen & bath remodeling forum. I think you will get a better response there.
