painting baquet hall

We have a room in our banquet hall that we are trying to spruce up. We want to add some color but not to much so on one wall that is open to the rest of the room we painted the top painting baquet hall-sspx0341.jpg. Should we cut our big wall like the other and do this to or will it look stupid. painting baquet hall-sspx0342.jpg
