old mirror

I have an old round mirror, about two feet in diameter and it's attached to something like particle board. The mirror itself has detached in some places from the board, leaving some of the silvery reflective stuff behind. If I'm using this piece decoratively and don't care so much about the quality of the mirror's reflection, what kind of adhesive or glue would secure the two pieces back together and allow me to hang it without having to worry about the pieces separating again?

They sell mirror adhesive in a tube that you use with a caulk gun. It's fromulated to prevent the silver from coming off onto the backer. Try your home center before you check a glass shop.
