New basebords and trim are white but all window frames are stained cedar?

Im redoing all my trim and baseboards in my cedar home. The house is all cedar siding and the window frames are stained cedar.

I was going to redo my interior trim around windows with white trim but the window frames are stained cedar. I noticed that the window trim and the window frames usually match in most homes.

I wondering the best way to do this. I considered sanding and painting the interior window frames to match the new white interior trim but then the outside of the window frames are still stained cedar. Will this look strange?

We will be re painting or staining the exterior window frames this summer, so we can do them in white or stain them again, However with the siding being all cedar I think the outside window frames being white might look strange.

Thanks for any input, I can post pics if that helps.
