Long High End Wall Sconces

A friend has two beautiful wall sconces pictured below. They just plug straight into the wall. I am looking for something similar, but the place where she purchased hers has since gone out of business. I need recommendations for places to look online for such. Thanks!

Long High End Wall Sconces

When I have a hard time finding something that specific, I go to ebay and look... A lot of sellers on there sell out from companies who are no longer in business. I usually do find what I'm looking for, but be picky and beware the cheap copies

Long High End Wall Sconces

What is the purpose of the long body?
Is that based on a classic design with some archaic function?
