wooden floors


Can yu use liquid nail to glue down hardwood floors. If so what kind, or what would you suggest.

You can do what you want. It won't work, however.

Why would you want to?
Are you trying to install it over a slab?

Solid wood floors that are 3/4" can not be glued down over a concrete slab. Engineered hardwoods can however be. I would suggest Bostiks Best glue, it is a vapor barrier and glue in one. Be sure to check the moisture levels in the concrete prior to gluing a wood floor to it. You can do this with a calcium chloride test. These can be found online. If you have a plywood subfloor, I would staple rather than glue as it is easier and it saves the cost of glue.
