wood to tile

Replacing bad hardwood floors with tile. In floor radiant is under subfloor. Tile will sit on ” cement board on sub floor. I heard about something you can put down to separate the expanding wood sub floor from the cement board to lessen the effects.

Does anyone know what this is?

Comments welcomed.
Thanks

Schluter makes a matting that is firmsetted right over the sub-floor--no need to nail or screw down cement board--Its called Ditra.

This stuff is discussed a lot here,it's been around for a long time and is a safe choice,---Mike---
