Wood Flooring Options
I've got a few projects going on but need to get this one squared away and then the rest will go like domino's. Maybe.
My house is on a slab and I have 3 bedrooms that I want to remove the carpet and install wood flooring - as well as the rest of the house at a later date. I was leaning toward laminate but not sure which would be the better choice, laminate or engineered. I like the dark colored, hand scraped, wide plank look. I found a Pergo laminate at Lowe's I like, but would like some more knowledgeable opinions before I pull the trigger. Laminate or engineered, and why? Thanks. |
Engineer, installed as a floating floor. Far more stable, does not look like a cheap plastic floor, below grade install rated, adds to the valve of a home not lower it like laminite does.
