Wood floor help/suggestions

Certainly you cant beat the no-mess install of a prefinished floor, but they're harder to clean, and don't look as nice as a sand-on-site hardwood, in my opinion. The little grooves between the boards (which hide small height differences) collect dirt.

Wood floor help/suggestions

Ok, I have chosen to go with prefinished hardwood floors and I will be installing. Now, my question is, where do I start with all this, I know that I start with my longest wall, which is about 8 feet. Now my problem is where I run into the enterence of the laundry room into the kitchen. Do I start with the 8ft wall and work my way from north to south until I finish with the kithen, and then complete the laundry room from south to north?

Here is a rough sketch of the kitchen. I didn't think you neaded measurements at this point to make a determination of start and end point. All floor cabinets and applainces will be out of the room.

Thanks!
