I just got finished laying down some wonderboard lite and darn it, there's a noticeable ridge at the seam of 2 pieces. (one piece is about 1/16th higher than the other. the floor is level so all I can think of is that I got a "bum" sheet of wonderboard which isn't exactly 1/4 in. (I'll measure later)
the question is whether I can make up the diff. with thinset when I tile or does that piece of wonderboard have to come out? this "ridge" is right at the doorway otherwise I'd forget it.
Put a dust mask on and sand it to blend it in.
If it's truly 1/16 it's not an issue.
