Will my sealed garage floor sweat?
 

Im workingon the plans for a garage remodel. im planning to remove the doors and seal them up. Then install hvac,sprayfoam, electric tankless water heater, and sheetrock. Will the bare concrete slab floor sweat.

If you are running your a/c it won't matter and you won't even see it, right?

This spring, slabs were sweating like crazy as we went from cold temps to hot temps overnight.

Putting a lot of rock under it will help, as will a vapor barrier and/or insulation.

Keeping the doors closed will do the most good, as this will allow the building to heat up slowly.

It's just difficult to run a lot a of warm, wet air over an ice-cold surface and not expect it to pull the water out of the air.
