Will Laminate Flooring Hold Up With Dogs In The House?

I'm thinking of installing some laminate flooring. I have three very large dogs and do not know if it will hold up. Any suggestions?

Laminate is the same as other types of flooring....you get what you pay for!
There are cheap laminates and quality ones. Quality can and usually costs a bit more. Do your research on any product you're considering BEFORE purchasing and don't be fooled by the lowest price. I know there are some laminate floors out there that are warrantied for life. Read into the warranties and ask your supplier questions about your specific concerns.
Remember that any type of wood flooring is susceptible to damage of some kind. Just do you research and make sure you are happy with what you purchase. A quality floor should last a long, long time.

Good luck

Just like Angus said...it depends on what kind you buy.

I'll look at the brand of mine when I get home but the whole lower floor of my house (living room, dining room, kitchen) has laminate flooring and I haven't had any problems with my dog...she even needs to get her nails clipped...hahaha.

You're talking laminate wood? My parents installed Pergo 5+ yrs ago - They have a border collie and an austrailian shepherd... both medium sized, but very active dogs (us "kids" like to rile them up!) and the only damage evident is from a hammer I dropped claw-end-first from waist-high. They're very happy with it.
