White Oak Floating Engineered Flooring

My sister and I are planning to install White Oak floating engineered floor to our walk-in closet. Our dogs sometime make accidents in the closet so we need to have a water resistant floor. I've done some research online and I know White Oak is very water resistant but I wonder if floating engineered floor is good for pets. Would it be OK to put glue in the tounge and grove to prevent water from getting in between the planks?

Thank you,
