What's best to cover linoleum floor?

My kitchen floor is old linoleum which is in great shape and glued down pretty good. I wanted to cover it up with something different and wanted to know if I can go right over the existing floor. I don't have any experience with tiling so I was trying to stay away from that. I like the new interlocking tile that snaps together and just needs to be grouted when done but its kind of pricey. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. THX!!!

You are probably referring to Snapstone.
It really doesn't cost any more than any other type tile.

How about a nice new shiny vinyl.

I didn't say it is good, I said it is popular.

Well if I do decide to tile would I be able to go right over the existing floor, I do I need to put something down first? The floor is pretty level and I would only have to rent a wet saw. It looks pretty easy on the DIT Network As long as I work with a small piece of floor at one time and use my spacers I should be ok right?

If the floor is level and smooth you can put laminate over it. Laminate is easy and fast and if you get tired of it, it's easy to remove too.
