Exactly what kind of floor are you looking for? Laminate, wood, etc.?

Kahrs and Mullican are the two brands I do the most with. Armstrong will have the same issues as Bruce. They are the same company. Honestly, anything that uses a Fold n' Lock end joint without a clip to lock it tight can have popping and clicking issues if the product is too thin. The Bruce products I've heard problems with are 3/8 thick. I've heard of heavier products using the same system with no such problems. Kahrs comes in a wide variety of materials. The classic is the most common around here. It's 3/4" thick with a good heavy locking system all around. Austin Springs from Mullican is 1/2" thick but also have a similar locking system. The end joints on this one are fold n' lock style but they do have the clip in place to keep them firmly locked.
