what is it called?

I have the old school flooring in my kitchen. Is it laminate or vinyl? It comes 12 feet wide?

It is vinyl, Or if it is really old it is linoleum.

It's not linoleum if it's 12' wide. It's vinyl, and be aware that it has a slight cushion to it too. It may not feel cushioned to you, but anything wider that 6' is 'cushioned'.

What do you mean by "old school flooring".
