I don't have much experience with bamboo flooring. Got a call last week or maybe a little longer couple came home to leak under the sink, bamboo flooring buckled. Was going to be an insurance claim, I told them when settled call me. They called the insurance company settled. But when I went to look the flooring was as flat as the day it was put in. You could absolutely not tell the floor had been damaged, no musty or mildew smell. My question is does bamboo react better than hardwood when it dries out?
Bamboo reacts better to moisture than most hardwood. If it went back to normal, thats great, but I would say that even thou it does not smell, it will have mold under it. If the insurance company is paying I would replace it.
I LOVE THE SMELL OF SAWDUST IN THE MORNING!
