Visqueen Over Newly Layed Outdoor Tile????

Hello All,

Are there any issues with covering an outdoor patio with visqueen that I've just layed down in the last two days? I mean, will the moisture created under the clear visqueen cause an issue with the mortar drying? I used Tec Isolight which is an crack isolation mortar, btw.

It will be several more days before I can caulk and grout, thus I'd like to keep it as clean as possible until then.....

Thanks,
Ralph

Visqueen Over Newly Layed Outdoor Tile????

I don't like the idea of doing that unless you can tent it to maintain normal air-flow. The sun will cause the surface to become hot if touching and no air movement. How dirty can it possibly get? No one will walk on it. I'd leave it and sweep well when ready to grout.
