VCT adhesive

I have about 80sq ft to cover in an attached storage space. The slab is old and a little uneven and has some stains that may be oily . Is there an adhesive you all would use for this sort of situation? The VCT is an Armstrong product if that matters. Any tips you can give to get a decent result are appreciated.

Thanks for comments.

OK... Use a glueless vinyl sheet remnant instead.

VCT adhesive

I got the VCT for free and thought I could use it. If it doesn't stand much chance of working I sure don't want to put in the labor.

I can ask the flooring guy to save me a couple of drops on the next job.

Even if it is glueless vinyl what can I use to glue it down, particularly at the entrance? Or maybe just use one of those aluminum threshold strips and screw it down?
