Uneven floor
Dear experts,

I installed baseboards, and realized that my hardwood floor is uneven. So in some places there is space visible under the baseboard. Is there any way to make it look better without reinstalling the floor? Without the baseboards, I would never notice that something is wrong with the floor. Maybe I could fill the space under the baseboard with something? Or any other solution?

Why is it uneven?)

I don't know.

How much space are we talking about? (length x maximum width.) If it's less than 1/4 inch width, I would personally tack on some shoe molding all the way around to hide the gap and call it a day.

I agree shoemold would be an easy fix and it will look nice because you can make it follow the contour of the floor.

Thanks for the idea. Should I nail the shoe molding to the baseboard, or through the baseboard and drywall to the joist?

Thanks again.

To the baseboard.

Thanks! I have one more question though: I just bought plastic shoe molding, it works well. But what should I use to cover the nail holes in the plastic?
