Trex Decking

I have a balcony without an overhang on second story of my house. The deck needs to be replaced. It's about 7x4 feet. I am considering replacing with Trex material. How will Trex hold up to the occasional shoveling of accumulated snow during the winter? Will I damage the Trex with shoveling?

Thanks

Trex Decking

I don't know about Trex, but I just installed Weyerhauser composite decking (Lowe's version) and it is a bit fragile. If you can use a plastic shovel on the snow, or even a heavy duty broom, I am sure it would not hurt it. That is my opinion.
