Do you have to do anything special when installing this type of flooring?

Depends on alot of factors.
How thick?
What size?(width)
Whats the sub floor?

Travertine


ALL stone tile floors require a floor structure that is double that required for a ceramic tile installation. The stone also should be sealed prior to grouting and again afterward.
