transition strip to lay cut rug on a curve ? ? ?


want to remove some w-to-w glued down onto conc so i can refinish the entry hallway - grinding & acid-staining,,, rather'n have a square cut carpet area, is there a transition strip that will allow the rug to be re-glued in a curve ? ? ? thanks, guys ! ! !

There are vinyl transitions you can get from Lowes or Depot that come with an aluminum track. If you are doing a new install, you just nail the track down with concrete stubbies (predrilling makes this easier, but is not completely necessary)after cutting grooves and shaping the track how you want it, the long side goes under the carpet. Cut the carpet to the track and then snap down the vinyl trim piece.

thanks, bud,,, hate giving any $$$ to an apron store but if my carpet guy does that's HIS own biz,,, wonder'd IF what we want'd to do was possible,,, curve's an outside bend so that should make it easier on whatever mtl he picks,,, off-hand, i'd rather metal than vinyl.
