Question Trafficmaster Allure in Laundry Room - HELP!

Hello all,
I have been all around the Internet and I cannot find any help on my specific topic. I am installing Trafficmaster Allure in our laundry room and we have baseboard heating. Should I worry about using the product near the hot copper pipe?

And my bigger problem is that there is a drain in the center of the room that I would like to keep (not cover). What do I use to extend the drain above the flooring so that no moisture can get below the floating floor (I think this would cause I bit of a problem). Also the slope toward the drain is about 1/2" deep.

Any advice would really help!

Kate
