Tongue and groove

I am installing tongue and groove flooring on my floor. I have installed two full sheets on the floor and there is a 6 inch gap left to fill. I know the answer to this but do I have to sacrifice the end of a new full sheet of tongue and groove to complete the floor or is there another solution. I know I will have to but I thought it was worth asking about.

You answered your own question. Cut it. Or find a 6" thick baseboard:laughing:

BTW what kind of flooring is it and how come you only needed 2 sheets. I'm picturing either 3 1/4" wide hardwood, or clik and lock laminate.

I have installed two full sheet and two 31 inch sections. One full sheet and and 31 inch section side by side. Yeah I knew I had to cut it I just thought there was another way. I was simply thinking about the cost of the whole sheet in the area of $11.00 but it has to be done.

Oh, are you talking about 4x8 sheets of T&G plywood?

When I refer to sheets I mean 4 X 8 boards of plywood.

Yes cut the 6" if not the flooring, if stepped on could give away and cause the
flooring to break.
