"As Time Goes By' carpet by Shaw.... a good choice??

We picked out this carpet that was shown/recommended to us from a Shaw rep. It is a short frise/plush mix and we plan on carpeting the entire house with it. I am just wondering if anyone has experience with this carpet and if it is good on stairs and throughout the home. Also, how is the cleanup (I have kids and cats that like to make messes) Thanks

Is it nylon or polyester?

Nylon carpet will last for years if kept clean.

Anso nylon is owned by Shaw now and they place some of the heaviest warranties you can get on it. It's very good product.
