Tiling the Bathroom

Recently we had a new bathroom set installed with tiles we had in the store for quite sometime. Now we don't like the look of it as they don't seem to match the set. Is there a way to lay a set of new tiles without removing the old ones. advice please.

If the existing tiles are installed properly--yes---you can tile on top of the existing---

Clean the tiles with soapy water with a cup of ammonia to remove any wax, dirt or whatever.

Scuff the tiles with coarse sandpaper---use an unmodified thinset mixed with liquid latex--or a modified thinset approved for tile over tile--
