Tiling adhesive system

I came across what appears to be a very clever idea for applying tile adhesive without the mess and was wondering if anyone knows if it is available. I would also be interested to know if it was easier for someone who has not tiled before.

how would you handle cut tiles?
looks like it might save on clean up.
what about different tile sizes?

Aaron there have been several products of that nature come and go in the past several years. That idea is a gimmick that works on the apprehensive fears of those that have never installed any tile before. The product would never work with floor tile so don't even think about that. The Tile Council of North America and the American National Standards Institute has worked very hard for more than four decades to keep unsuspecting newcomers from being taken by such products. If you are thinking about tiling, stay with proven traditional methods. There isn't that much to it an we can teach you everything you need to know right here on the Internet.

PS: If you are in fact the inventor maybe you should try another area you may know more about.

Thanks for the input. I will stick to the traditional methods and no I am not the inventor. I also susppect it would work out quite a lot more expensive than the traditional methods.

Tiling adhesive system

I saw a system at home depot that is similar to this one. Might be the same, I don't know. I had to laugh when I saw the display. Here's one more half-a$$ way to do something to appeal to people that don't want things done right. It'll be one more thing in a few years to run across on tearouts. Kinda reminds me of that paint glidden was selling years ago. It was almost as thick as shoe polish and came in a tray. The claim to fame is it didn't splatter. Needless to say it took off like a led zeppelin.

I saw something like this at Home Depot too. I asked a tile installer and he just laughed. Said save your money it is expensive and not worth the money.
